With the price of gasoline edging toward five dollars a gallon, it makes sense that more people than ever are interested in making the switch to an alternative energy car. For the three-year old Salem dealership, Electric Wheels Inc., it seems that almost every day brings a new development of one kind or another. One of the more recent is an order from Rock Star Neal Young for his second set of Lithium Ion batteries from Electric Wheels owner Larry Dye.

30 miles for a nickel?
Hmmm…..at that rate it will only take75 years to recoup the initial investment!
Guess what 18 wheelers call the Zaps…potholes.
I know this guy–he is soft sell and just happens to have a keen interest in cutting edge long range battery technology and for that matter, all aspects of EV’s. Sometimes being dedicated to a cause and pitching the product as a salesman can come across as conflictual. How about when your hobby becomes your self-employment. Sounds like a dream job to me…
I bet Neil came to him first just like I did..
The batteries are lithium iron phosphate. What kind of reporting are you doing anyways?
I recall ‘Dare He Lie’ claiming that the POS ZAP Xebras he was selling, “..actually, has an airbag.”
Riiight, only when a car salesman is in it!!
What a wanker.
…kinda surprised the “no loss of energy” potential pun wasnt’t nabbed by the reporter. Not to be nit picky but Neil Young’s first name is spelled N-E-I-L not
N-E-A-L. By the time this post is read, I imagine that will be changed both in the title and tag. Go Green Dale. You too Dale Green!

What a bunch of shit , you use Neil Youngs name in your title , and hes not even on the video , you say you talked to him , you flash a picture and use his name to get hits on your tube video to promote two guys talking about their business ,
Way to go Larry! Excellent video.
