The 10th of december 2007, Al Gore not only got his fully deserved Nobel peace price, however also flowers from the norwegian electric car association, which created a parade of electric cars to honour Al Gore. Norwegian press refused to cover the event, however "Buddy TV" did, which is the internet TV-channel for elbilnorge.no (The producer of the tiny 'Buddy' cars) Electric cars are very popular in Norway, even though it also has lots of opponents, due to the fact that Norway is a very rich nation, because of its huge supplies of oil and gas in the north-eastern atlantic, the northern sea. One EV not seen in the video, which were there, is the infamous Toyota RAV4 EV, which was cancelled and taken back from lease and mostly crushed by Toyota, despite great popularity amongst the public. Algore is backing a company called “Fisker Motors” that recieved $500,000,000.00 in U.S. tax money to build electric cars that retail for $100,000.00 each. The company claims an address in California, but says it will outsource all of the building of the cars to another company in Finland and Denmark. SO your tax dollars are going out of the country to prop up companies that are going to support the Scandanavian economies, I guess this is Obama’s “Bail out” of the EU.

hey yo nthviking.. know that 99 percent of the electricity used here in norway is based on water-electricy..coal and oil electricity is exported to other countries.. that’s why we so damn rich 400 billions is our gdp
CO2 reduction isn’t the same. It takes electricity to produce gasoline. Also the amount of CO2 released in the air gets less over time. The Electric Grid gets cleaner every year. Do some research before you say crap.
although the cars are electric, the co2 is almost the same considering the energy it takes to produce electric power.
