Hybrids are expensive and the added cost will end up costing you more in the long run.
Hybrids can reduce your gasoline bill if, and only if, you do all your driving in stop and go traffic or where there are lots of stop lights/signs. If the car is driven less than 10,000 miles per year, this too makes a hybrid uneconomical.
You’ll end up paying at least 20% more for a hybrid than a regular car.
The three best hybrids are:
Toyota Prius
Honda Insight
Ford Fusion
Don’t buy a “mild hybrid” that doesn’t actually propel the car with batteries. Some SUVs say they’re hybrids, but don’t really save much gas.
Hybrids make the most sense in a city or where your mom is driving relatively slow speeds (e.g., 30 miles per hour).
A scam that costs the owner more over time than a traditional gas car.
I Like to see around 50MPG too, but the costs people don’t see eventually get deep into the operators wallet.
it run on a gas engine and the is a small generator that charges the batteries so they can run the electric motors.
